Notes

The Singim Card Drivers do not use regular card slots. There are prongs soldered directly to the PCB, and the plastic shell guides the card. I would strongly discourage from changing the card while the Card Driver is plugged. Changing the card while the Card Driver is plugged to the USB port can lead to improper detection of the card, and might lead to serious problems.

Currently, there are Controllers from three different manufacturers in use. It looks like the models without extension or extension "E" use controllers from ENE, models with extension "A" use controllers from Alcor Micro, and models with extension "S" use controllers from Silicon Motion.

Especially for Alcor Micro controllers, performance and compatibility can depend on the date of manufacture. Most Alcor Micro controllers started supporting SDHC somewhere in Q1/2006. Most of the Singim Card Drivers use controllers without shell, and therefore show no date of manufacture, only a QC sticker showing the final date.
